Great coffee roast, very busy place and you might have to wait to find table especially on Sundays. Their flat white was amazing and their walnut double chocolate cookie is one of the best i have had. Very well balanced. also their avocado toast is spot on. very bright and open atmosphere. it's a not so fussy calm place.

Probably the best all-around coffee shop in New Haven. Great vibe, great coffee and the food is surprisingly good! Lots of work space and some outdoor seating as well. The space is very nicely designed!

My food and drink were incredible. I got a veggie bowl and london fog with soy, both vegan. They have tea/tea lattes and mugs (as opposed to only plastic & paper). Service was comforting and they had Modern Baseball playing (huge plus).Most people were doing work. The space is set up for that. Free wifi. Bathrooms have flier boards for community events in the area! 28 for the meal I have pictured.

Really good food. Everything tastes fresh and well seasoned. Cobb salad is great and large portion. The breakfast potatoes are amazing. Good coffee too.

I love Fussy Coffee!!! This place is a little out of the way from the Yale campus which I personally think is great. It's right next to the canal trail. When the university is in session, it can be very busy and hard to find a table at peak times like around lunch. The cafe is bright with very tall windows that let in lots of sunlight. There are several smaller tables, some high top seating, and 2 long communal tables. For those who want to do work with laptops, beware that there aren't that many outlets! For beverages - I really like the coffee here. Their nitro cold brew is STRONG. They also have non-coffee drinks options. They often have interesting, seasonal special drinks. They also have alcoholic beverages, although I've never tried them myself personally. For food, they have lots of great options and are vegan/vegetarian friendly. Their fries are probably their best known food item. I ask for them to be extra cripsy because sometimes they come out a bit soggy. Their sauces are great too.

Great place for good coffee and quick breakfast sandwiches! I had the breakfast burrito and it was so good! The service was also amazing! Will was so kind and made sure that my group had everything we needed! awesome spot for sure

are you, too, one of those people who loves a third-wave coffee joint with narrow light wood tables pushed up against a floor-to-ceiling window, quirky light fixtures, tasteful local art on the walls, & depressing music that’s probably Objectively Good (thanks to a barista who, when you ask about the music, is like “you’ve ... never heard of elliott smith??? he’s pretty famous”)...if so, you will enjoy the stylings of fussy coffee, which is probably my favorite place to while away several hours sipping an iced latte and “””studying””” in as much sunlight as new haven can muster. good coffee, good food, good music. if you’re there alone do not get the fries, it is too much food for one person.
